Great Lenexa BBQ Battle

Wow another hot one in Kansas City with the heat index above 100 both days. Everyone drank plenty of water and we didn't have any hospital visits. So it was a good contest that placed us 36th of 180 teams over all. We also received a 4th place ribbon in pork and that makes back to back calls in pork. Ribs continue to give us problems scoring low again.
"Must smoke better ribs ... must smoke better ribs ...."

Our (and I say our because we are a team) only incident incurred when I was parking the trailer. Wall of Flame’s parked pickup jumped out and hit our moving trailer. It was the darnedest thing you ever saw ... a parked pickup hitting a moving trailer.

Amongst the BBQ we had 200 Jell-O shots at Friday's party. And I still want to know who ended up with the home made pies that never made it on the table that night. I think I was supposed to take those home.
